Ugly into Beautiful

This is a photo of dirt, which is not considered beautiful at all, just dirty, gross, and something second graders lick in a game of truth or dare. This photo includes texture, contrast, lighting, saturation, and rule of thirds.

Depth of Field

This photo includes repetition, texture, lighting, and lines. I took this during photography class on one of the scavenger hunts.

Photo Final

With this photo, I didn't feel the need to do any cropping. The elements of design used are contrast, color, emphasis, lines, value, and rule of thirds. The only blur in the image would be from the raindrops on the gondola window, but personally, I think it adds to the image. The lighting is all natural; I had to change the ISO and shutter speed in order to take this because it was a cloudy day.

I took this picture when I went to Seattle to visit my sister. We decided to drive to Mount Rainier, where we got lost and ended up at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort, where they had gondolas. None of us had ever been on one, so we figured we might as well go up the mountain, and obviously, it was worth it.
